Adrenaline surged through my veins as I slowly approached the chair. The fireplace crackling, and my heels clicking on the smooth hardwood floor were the sounds audible in the room. A bitter taste filled my mouth as I stared at the back of his head. He seemed calm, and at ease as he sat in his chair arrogantly. In his mind he was untouchable. He'd defeated everyone in his way and he had not a care in the world. This angered me even more. I could be hasty about this. Get it over with quick, one clean shot execution style, but that would be too easy. I was not in the business of making anything easy for this man who has caused me so much hell. I wanted him to suffer the way I had. He and that bitch deserved to burn for what they did to me. Once I was standing directly behind him he chuckled, not even bothering to look at me. A fatal mistake. "It took you long enough to get here." I smiled at how my plan was going just as I wanted it to, without a hinge. I slid my manicured hand down the front of his chest the other pinned behind my back holding the syringe. He kissed my hand causing me to cringe. He couldn't even tell the difference between her and I. I swiftly stabbed his neck injecting the paralytic agent into his system. He turned around to resist but it was too late. He lunged at me but I quickly backed away causing him to fall on the floor. He reached out for me but the toxin was already working, causing his muscles to lock up. The echoes of his gurgling and struggling to talk was music to my ears. A sinister smile crept upon my face as I walked toward his body. I knelt down next to him and chuckled at the look of fear that was plastered on his face. I rubbed his smooth cheek tenderly before speaking. "Surprise Love. Did you miss me like I missed you?"
